As long as we follow those priorities, in that order, we are well on our way to a successful marriage. Too often, I hear couples hear say, "Well, we are just staying married for the kids. Once they get off to college we will assess things then." Or, a man will work hard at his job thus neglecting his family. But, has anyone ever heard of someone in their dying breath saying, "I wish I spent more time at the office?"
